Dingle RV Adventures

We arrived in Memphis about noon. Crossed over the mighty Mississippi

and set up across from Graceland in an RV park

We then walked over to Graceland for the mansion tour. We were not allowed in the upstairs,the private part of the mansion, only the downstairs area where Elvis was always dressed to see the public or visitors. We did not see Elvis.

After our tour we then headed to Sun Studio and then on to the Peabody Hotel to watch the famous duck walk at 5 pm.

Then we visited Beale Street and listened to the soul sounds coming from the many bars.

We ate ribs at the famous Rendevous restaurant. The entrance is actually in an alley. The ribs were excellent.

This is the last of our glory days sightseeing. Tomorrow we start the last leg home. We will travel to Montgomery, Al to spend the night then on to Gainesville and the end to a great RV trip.
